Parking. The single most requested amenity from my clients, especially those who work outside of center city or have non-traditional work schedules that may leave them circling for parking once they get home from a shift ending after midnight.
Philly is also a super walkable city of neighborhoods, so it’s no surprise you may also want to live within walking distance of: a great spot for brunch, a go-to burger and beer, and maybe a great yoga studio, gym, or place to run.
So here’s my round-up of picks for you in super walkable neighborhoods, with parking, and under $500k:
Brunch at Hungry Pigeon, Burger & Beer at For Pete’s Sake, and Yoga at Three Queens.
This 2 bed, 1.5 bath condo is on a quiet, tree-lined street, tucked away and still in the middle of everything. Garage parking with direct access to the unit means no slugging groceries or walking home from your car late at night. The fact that it’s in Meredith Catchment and has low condo fees makes this hard to come by and a no-brainer pick. Check it out here or stop by the Open House on Sunday, July 30 from 11:00 - 12:30.
Brunch at Café La Maude, Burger & Beer at Standard Tap, and get your sweat on at City Fitness.
There are 9 remaining units at The L’Eau, all 2 bed, 2 bath, and one is even under $400k! Most units have outdoor balconies and unit 602 (my favorite) has a great bridge view. Two beds and 2 baths in a corner unit with a balcony overlooking the courtyard, AND with the concrete columns and exposed ductwork loft details you’ve been dying for? Here it is! Parking is in a shared garage accessible by elevator.
